I knew I couldn’t resist Infinity for long. So I bit the proverbial bullet and got some Nomads, Szalamandra TAG and pilot to be specific. I’ll post more photos of other models. If I don’t get distracted by something else.
This is a Cygnar light warjack Charger. No fancy arm repositioning or head resculpting like I did on the Lancer. My favourite Cygnar warjack.
I finally got a new camera and here are the first results of my trial and error while practicing with it. This is a Cygnar light warjack Lancer which is part of an army that I painted fairly quickly almost as soon as I got into Warmahordes. I’ve used standard techniques: layering on the armour with blue, yellow/orange layering on the Cygnus on the shield and wash over metal areas with final drybrush with metal paints. Arcnode energy light was done with a light blue wash and white/blue highlight.

I’ve played a few games through the main campaign and I loved it immensely. It gave me the same feeling I have when watching episodes four, five and six of Star Wars. Like in the movies most missions in Imperial Assault are all or nothing affairs for Rebels. I strongly recommend the game.

Like many before me I started on the longish and interesting road of getting the best possible photos of my models so that I can show off. Then I came across this DakkaDakka page through the Privateer Press forums. I’m still going through it but it looks like a great source of information.
Awhile back me and a friend started a little shop on eBay for model bases called Toxicity Games. Since then our range has grown and now we are working on our first terrain pieces. I will feature finished products on this blog from time to time. Our website is still a work in progress but through it you can find our eBay shop.
Very interesting Warmahordes project on Kickstarter.
I gave a demo game of Warmahordes to a new player in my local wargaming club. Details will follow tomorrow as I am badly distracted by Star Wars Old Republic at the moment.
This time players had more freedom in army size and table setup and one player decide to try a different army. This was due to them already having some idea of what they like in their armies so I decided it would be best to give them that freedom.
I wasn’t in the league this time as I was demoing a game for two new players who seemed to enjoy it a lot. One of them is looking at possible purchases.
